USA Biker Nation Streaming Show Archives
May 12th, 2007
The first show we got up and streaming! Of
course, we only caught the last 15 minutes or
so, but what a time! We had Dan Haggerty
("Grizzly Adams"), Master Builder Paul Yaffe,
Rock 'Em Sock 'Em's Ralph Randolph and many,
many more. The studio was so packed with bikers
it looked like Main Street Sturgis on Saturday
Night.

Rick Hill and Dan Kessler of
Metropolitan Choppers join us to talk about
the art of chopper building and their latest
works, plus the founders of Thunder Roads
magazine kick in for some chat and last, but not
least "tramp stamps" (as Peter calls 'em) - the
fine art of the tattoo is explored with Teresa
Green - who has a PHD and a bunch of ink!

What would a Memorial day show be without
racing? Greg Burns, a nitro Harley drag racer
tells us what it's like to lay it down at 170
mph, John Amo bursts into flames at 210 mph and
later on Shark and his band "Spankin' Whitey"
join us in the studio. It starts to get nasty as
that old "loud pipes" issue raises it's ugly
head.

It's WAR! That's right - it looks
like it's the City of Denver against all
law-abiding motorcyclists. The City of
Denver is proposing an ordinance which
would make it ILLEGAL TO MODIFY YOUR
PIPES, run pipes that exceeded a
specific decibel reading OR didn't bear
an official EPA stamp.
Unbelievable - in looking at
this bill, almost 80% of the motorcyclists in
Denver would immediately become criminals just
for firing up their bikes!
